Who We Are

Our journey began in 2022 after meeting a Korean church elder who longed to help feed children in need. Having grown up in Madagascar, together, we started small in our little village — serving 30 children in the rural community of Ambohimahatsinjo, offering free meals and English classes every Saturday. What began as a simple act of love grew into a vision to create opportunity and restoration for the next generation and our team grew to the global team it is today.

Madagascar is home to over 32 million people, with nearly 60% under the age of 25. Yet, 67% of children face multidimensional poverty — lacking access to education, healthcare, and basic needs. While 76% enroll in primary school, only 27% continue to secondary education, leaving 1.7 million children out of school. Without intervention, this generation risks being trapped in a cycle of poverty and lost potential.

We believe investing in education and holistic care is not just a response to need — it’s an act of hope and faith in what Madagascar can become. From one small village, we are growing our programs to reach more families, build stronger communities, and ultimately help transform an entire nation, one restored life at a time.

Our Vision

A hope and a future for every child and family — in Ambohimahatsinjo, Madagascar, and beyond.

We long to see a nation where people live with dignity, families are cared for, and communities flourish.

Rebuilding

Laying new foundations to go from brokenness to hope

Restoration

Rekindling faith, identity, worth and beauty.

Next Generation

Empowered to stand tall, dream boldly, and lead with compassion.

Madagascar, a jewel of the Indian Ocean, holds immense beauty and potential. Though burdened by poverty and broken systems, hope remains. We believe true restoration begins with faith — as hearts are turned to God, lives are rebuilt, and futures renewed.

We envision communities built on dignity, opportunity, compassion and care, where the next generation can dream freely and live purposefully. Together, we work to transform cycles of poverty into stories of hope and renewal. At RnR, we give our all to see Madagascar restored — its people thriving, its beauty preserved.

Our Mission

We are committed to empowering the next generation through education, creativity, resilience, and faith. Poverty is multidimensional — not only material, but emotional and spiritual. We do not believe that faith alone without action, or action without faith, can bring lasting change. Restoration happens when the whole person is cared for — body, mind, and spirit — and when justice, dignity, and worship are restored together.

Support Education

Education is a foundation for growth and a vital path out of poverty. By encouraging and providing access to quality learning opportunities, we equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to build a hopeful future and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Promote Creativity

We believe every child carries unique potential within them. We provide safe, inspiring spaces where they can explore their talents, express themselves freely, and develop innovative thinking. Through art, music, and other creative programs, we nurture imagination and a sense of purpose that empowers them to dream and achieve.

Foster Resilience

Life brings challenges, but with encouragement and guidance, every young person can grow stronger. We help children and youth develop character, perseverance, and a positive mindset. Through mentorship and supportive relationships, they learn to face difficulties with courage and build a future filled with hope and opportunity.

Cultivate Faith

Faith is the foundation that anchors and gives meaning to all we do. We walk alongside children and youth as they grow in their relationship with God — helping them discover that faith is not just learned, but lived, not inherited but personally found and built. Through discipleship, reflection, and community, we encourage them to build lives rooted in truth, love, and purpose.

Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear!

"Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?"

Isaiah 58 : 7 - 8

Sariaka

Sariaka

Volunteer

I was never particularly passionate about education, and honestly, I didn't know what my calling was. But through serving God with Rebuild and Restore Madagascar, I discovered and accepted it. Deep down, I had always desired to serve God in an organization, though I didn't know which one. Now, almost two years later, I'm still here — always ready to give my best to share the Gospel with children, to plant God's Word in their hearts, and to pass on the little I know with love and faith.

But those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. By trusting in God, all my youthful mistakes and weaknesses became my greatest testimonies and my strength to raise up this new generation. My calling generally focuses on teenagers and young adults, which ignites all my enthusiasm for these children.
